CONTROL OF SIBERIA.
THE COSSACK MOVEMENT. POPULAR SUPPORT MET. (Received 7.30 p.m.) Beutor. LONDON. May 13. A Harbin correspondent states: General Semenoff, the Cossack leader in Siberia, has issued a communique that he has restored the bridge over the Onon River, -which he crossed, occupying Adrianovsk. He continues to meet with popular sympathy. General Semenoff has issued a proclamation assuring the trans-Baikal people that his movements are not counter-revolutionary, but are intended to restore lawful freedom. Many Russian soldiers from Siberia have joined General Semenoff. They state that the situation in Russia is becoming favourable for such movements, owing to the general discontent with the Bolshevik despotism.
