TURKS DRIVEN ACROSS THE LESSER ZAB RIVER. Australian and N.Z. and Reuter. (Reed. 8.30 p.m.) LONDON. May 13.
An official report from Sir W. E. Marshall, Commander-in-Chief in Mesopotamia, states: Our mounted troops pursued the Turks beyond Kirkuk. They drove the enemy across the Lesser Zab River, at Altun-Kupri, on the Mosul Road, 175 miles beyond Bagdad, capturing 30 prisoners and two guns.
