CONTRACTS BOARD IN LONDON

LONDON, March 8. In order to ensure the utmost economy in the purchase of supplies for the New Zealand Expeditionary Force in the United Kingdom, Brigadier-General G. S. Richardson has pet up a .Contracts Board to consider all tenders and to make all contracts as required. The board consists of Lieu-tenant-Colonel G. T. Hall, C.M.G., A.Q.M.G., (chairman), Major J. T. Watson, 0.8. E., Military Landing Officer (Auckland Regiment), and Mr. Gilbert Anderson. _ Mr. Anderson was nominated by the High Commissioner, and his commercial experience is of great value to the board. Additional expert assistance will be engaged as required. I
