MR. H. H. ' METCALFE, M.LOJS. Mb. Henry Hnlbert Metcalfe, M.1.C.E., the -9 well-known civil engineer, of Auckland, :fi| died suddenly at Whakatane ,on Friday s afternoon, while inspecting the local har- ! vl : l bour works.
