I JUDGMENT FOR DEFENDANT. | The action in which F. C. W. Connott, ; engine-driver, Auckland (Mr. Inder), 1: j claiming from Andrew Craig, Wapiti, ; Avenue (Mr. Gould), £196 15s damages j for alleged negligence iii driving a motor- ; oar and colliding with plaintiff's motori cycle, was resumed before Mr. E. D i Moseley, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. i Defendant said that as ha was leaving ' King Street tu enter Khyber Pass Road > he was travelling at four miles an hour. ' He blew his horn twice. He saw plaintiff coming down Khyber Pass Road on his ' motor-cycle at about 15 miles an hour. Witness looked down the street to see if I any traffic was approaching, ami on turn- ( ; nsr round again he saw that plaintiff was :! going to cross in front of him. Witness . applied his brakes, but the motor-cycle i ran into him. I Judgment was given for defendant with coats.
