SHORTAGE OF SHIPPING.
PREMIER'S EXPECTATIONS. [by telegraph.— ASSOCIATION'-! WELLINGTON, Monday. Sleaki.vo in the House of Representatives to-day the Prime Minister stated that the country could expect a shortage o f shipping during the next few months, on account of what was known as the Argentine season. Mr. Massey further stated that the Government had 2,500,000 carcases of beef at present in store in New Zealand.
