OCCASIONAL RAIN LIKELY
FORECAST BY MR. C. L. WRAGGE. Mr. Clement L. Wragge issued the following weather forecast yesterday evening:— "Although fair weather is expected to prevail during the near future, yet occasional intervening showers of an electric nature are likely. The country at present occupies the neutral zone between anticyclonic and cyclonic systems, and local air pockets or petty depressions in the upper region; of the atmosphere, influenced by condensing ridges on either side, produce the showers, which are local in character. Winds will bo variable, with a moderate, sea,"
