AIMS OP THE CONFERENCE. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 1.80 a.m.) MELBOURNE, April 14. Tho Governor-General's, recruiting conference sat through Saturday and will resumo on Monday. It is officially announced that the discussion dealt with economic conditions, the administration of the War Precautions Act regulations and the press censorship. Tho Governor-Gen-eral, in his opening address, earnestly stressed the necessity for all parties to work with unity in view of the seriousness of the war situation.
