ATHLETICS.

KING'S COLLEGE SfORTS. SUCCESSFUL RESULTS. The annual athletic sports of King's Collego wc» held in the Domain Cricket Ground yesterday. Contrary to oustom, the sport:) were held in the first term instead of the third, as it is the opinion of tho headmaster that the time spent in training at the end of the year interfered very considerably with the examination studies- Tho weather yesterday was excellent, and a large number of parents and friends assembled at the Domain. A noticeable feature of the sports was the promptitude with which the events were run off. The entries compared Tory favourably with those of former years, and the handicapping was generally good. During the afternoon musical selections were provided, and tea served in \he grandstand. Owing to the fact that the open r.teeplechase has not been yet decided, the names of the cup winners cannot be announced.
