COURT OF CONVOCATION. A mqting of the district Court of Convocation of the University of New Zealand, was held in the Old Grammar School yesterday, the vice-president, Mr. H. J. D. Mahon, presiding over a small attendance. It was intimated that on June 30, Mr. J. W. Tibbs, one of the convocation's representatives on tho University Senate, would retire, but would be eligible for reelection. Professor Maxwell Walker introduced tho matter of the recent action of the Senate in compelling degree candidate.-, who were taking languages at the repeat stage, t< take another subject in the event of their repeating in two language?
