♦ POSITION' OF THE FINANCES. [HI TELEGRAPH.—OWN' CORRESPONDENT.) WAIHI, Friday. Thf monthly meeting of the. Waihi Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was presided over by Mr. J. Irvine, chairman. The medical superintendent's report for March gave the number of patients admitted to the hospital as 40, discharged 35, died 2, remaining for treatment 35. The board's financial position was discussed, and it was decided to request the Borough Council to contribute £1750 for general purpose* and £250 towards capital ixpenditure in connection with the upkeep of th? hospital for tho 12 months ending March 31, 1919. Advices from the National Bank stated that Government subsidies, amounting to £260, had been placed to tho credit of tho board's account. ■
