DEATH OF OLD COLONIST.
MR. G. W. HENDERSON, OF ROTOEUA Mb. G. W. Henderson, a veteran bandsman, died in Rotorua on Thursday in hjj 68th year. He cams to New Zealand from Scotland when about two years old. and lived at Thames, in Auckland, and for the last 16 years, in Rotorua. He belonged, it is claimed, to the first drum and fifs band formed in Auckland, and afterwards to bands at Thames and Rotorua. He had been an invalid for about two years.
