RAINFALL IN AUCKLAND
LAST TWO YEARS COMPARED
DECREASE OF 10.76' INCHES.
A retoen nhowiisg the total rainfall in Auckland for the year ended March 31, 1918, as compared with that for the year ended March 31, 1917, has been prepared by Mr. F. A. P. Burnett, official observer. The return shows that the fall for the 1917-18 period was 10.76 in less than that during the previous period. The total decrease was more than accounted for by the combined decrease for any two of the months of November, December and February last, the declines for these months being 6.07 in, 7.23 in and 8.26 in respectively. Details are as follow: —
