Rawlinson, who is - fco*,v holding a command at.the front. - Major-General Charles John Sackville■:)V 'West, of the King's Royal Rifle Corps, is brother and heir of Baron Sackville-West. :■": He is 48 years of age, and has an army career extending back to 1889. ;He served .f^'inrtheMampur-- Campaign in 1891, in Burma, 1891-92, and in the South African t War. .
