FINER CONDITIONS EXPECTED

FORECAST BY MR. C. L. WRAGGE. The following weather forecast was issued by Mr. Clement L. Wragge last evening :— The great depression named Nathon is gradually passing away, and all New Zealand is now on its western, or retreating, side. An aftermath will still be experienced for a short time in the form of occasional heavy showers and squalls front between west and south, but the wind over the whole country must definitely be from southward under a rising barometer before the unsettled weather can come to an end. A high pressure wave, however, is approaching from the west, and much finer conditions are expected before the end of the week.
