With regard to dressmaking classes in courtry centres, the board decided that attendance should not bo compulsory for pupil-teachers and probationers, but considered thsl it wan desirable that wherever possible lady teachers should attend (ho classes. The payment of tram fares (one way), for Onehunga pupils attending the Newmarket Manual Training School, was authorised. This involves an expenditure of 7s a week.
