DALGETY AND COMPANY, LTD. The New Zealand superintendent for Dalgety and Company, Ltd., has received cable advice that the directors will, at the annual meeting of shareholders on Kove-nber 29. recommend a. dividend of 4 per cent., making with the interim dividend, 8 per cent. for the 12 months: also a bonus of 5s per share. The sum of £100.000 is to be written off to the reserve fund, £100,000 off premises account, and £10,000 to the staff benevolent fund, whilst £102,770 is to be carried forward. PROPERTY SALE. Messrs. Veal: Average yarding which sold at late rates. Heavy runners made up to £10 17s 6d; heavy suckers, £3 10s to £5 15s; light suckers. 48s to 55s- Others, 13s to 355. Mutton: Small yarding. Prices were a shade firmer than last week. Extra heavy wethers, shorn, sold at up to 41s 6d; medium weight wethers, 35s to 375; light and unfinished, 31s to 82s 9d; extra heavy shorn ewes sold up to 40s 3d, ordinary heavy shorn ewes, 28b to 88s; light and inferior ditto, 22s to 25s 6d. At the commencement of the salo prices declined by 10s, but later the market became firm at "rate rates.
