AUSTRIANS REINFORCED FROM OTHER THEATRES. ARTILLERY WORK INTENSE OVER WIDE AREA. United Service. (Received 1 a.m.) ' LONDON, Oct. 16. The fiercest fighting yet experienced on the Bainsizza Plateau is predicted by a correspondent at Italian headquarters. The enemy's artillery demonstrations are heavier and more widely distributed than ever before. Roinforceraents have been received by the Austrian from the Russian front. Airmen report that roads are filled with troops and material. The Austrians are' also reinforcing the line on the Isonzo from the Trentino. The total reinforcements since August probably total 100,000 men, doubling the forces previously holding these positions. / { ' | I ' , J
