RIGID ECONOMY NECESSARY A. and N.Z. LONDON. Oct. 15. | The Minister in Charge of Food Control, | Lord Rhondda, has circularised the Food | Control Committees emphasising the, necessity of materially reducing consump-1 tion. Unless every householder complies | with the requirements the coming winter will be a time of gravest anxiety. There must be rigid voluntary economy or compulsory rationing will be necessary.
