The president, Mr. C. J. Parr. A M.P., said that Sergeant Gallaher had d been a member of the club for 10 years, 0 during & part of which time he occupied a a position as steward. In '• that capacity he had won a name that 3 still lived in England. He was a tactful . leader of the game and a gallant gentle- - man. He had been imbued with a great patriotic spirit when he offered his services for King and Empire. Sergeant , Gallaher had been held in the highest esteem by all those who knew him.
