SEPARATION ALLOWANCES.
CONSIDERATION BY CABINET ANOTHER NATIONAL CAUCUS. [BY TELEGRAPH.— correspondent.] , WELLINGTON, Sunday . Another meeting of the supporters of the National Government wi|] be held this woek—perhaps on Wednesday. The War Pensions Bill has been passed, but the new scale of separation allowances has not yet been revised finally by Cabinet. The rates proposed will be placed before the meetiV. The Minister for Defence stated, when introducing the War Pensions Bill, that tho new rates would be 3s a day for a wife, and Is al day for a child, but members have asked for further increases, '■ and the matter is to be considered ag^n I by Cabinet before the meeting.
