FIGHT WITH A ZEPPELIN. ' A. and N.Z.-Reutor. LONDON, Oct. 11. ' The Military Cross has been awarded to Lieutenant W. W. Cook, of New Zealand, an officer in the Royal Flying Corps, for conspicuous gallantry and skill in attacking a Zeppelin. He ascended in a strong wind, with thick mist and low , clouds, but eventually gave up the attack • when 60 miles out to sea. The return journey was hazardous, but he landed safely after 5£ hours in the air.
