AERIAL SUCCESS ALLEGED Admiralty by Wireless. LONDON, Oot. 11, A German official message says: A most intense artillery engagement is in progress on the coast between Blanckaert Lake, four miles north of Bixschoote, and Poelcapelle. The French unsuccessfully reattacked Dreibank. TSighty aeroplanes participated in -an aerial battle at Zonnebeko and Zandvoorde. We brought down three. We captured important ground in tho Chaume Wood, on the Verdun front, four counter-attacks proving unsuccessful. Our enemies lost in September 22 balloons and 374 aeroplanes. We lost 82 aeroplanes and fivo balloons.
