Railway forwards now put mora dash into tho play, and after several exchanges Barclay secured and crossed the lino, making tho score 6—3 in City's favour. City soon retaliated;, however, and within a fow minutes Davidson, after a pretty run, added thrco more points. The whistle went for half-time almost immediately after. Early in tho second spell, Hiug scored for Railway, just crossing the line. Tho City forwards now gave a better display, and during tho closing stages of tho game added throe more tries, the scorers boiug Rukutai, Eustace and Mitchell.
