THE DENTAL HOSPITAL.
Tiik new offices and dental hospital now being erected for the Auckland Hospital Board were visited by Colonel J. N. Rishworth, Director-General of Dental Services, who in the evening waited on the board, and urged that the amount proposed to be spent in equipping the dental hospital should be increased from £250 to £500. He said that, from recent experience, he was convinced that the expenditure of the increased amount in up-to-date appliances would prove most economical in tho long run. Improved equipment would lead to a great saving of time, and practically save the board the salary of an operator, in addition to enabling dental work to be carried out more efficiently. The board resolved to ask Colonel Rishworth to furnish details as to how the extra amount should be expended.
