LAND AGENTS ASSOCIATION.
The fifth annual meeting of the Auckland Land and Estate Agents and Land Auctioneers Association was held at the Chamber of Commerce yesterday, Mr. J. H. Jackson presiding. It was preceded by a luncheon, at which there was a large attendance. Feeling reference was made to the death of Mr. W. Garratt, president of the association. The president said that during the year the question of the revision of the commission tariff was considered by the executive, but no increases were decided upon, although the war had had a serious effect on the businesses of some members. Reference was also made to the return to New Zealand of Colonel C. E. R. Mackesy. The following new officers were elected:—President, Mr. J. H. Jackson (re-elected); vice-presidents, Messrs. T. B. Clay and E. 0. W. Tibbits; executive Messrs. W. F. Harrop, N. Somerfield H.' C. Tewsley. A. Frater, S. M. Moore-Jones and Colonel C. E. R. Mackesy. Mr. P. R. Fraser was reappointed auditor.
