RECOVERY OF BODY.
DROWN ED IN MANUKAU HARBOUR
The body of Mr. William Oliver, donkevman on the steamer Rosamond who disappeared on July 10, when the steamer was at Onehunga, was recovered yesterday. The body was discovered about 2 p.m. by Captain Phipps, of the scow Ripple, floating near the Horn, about four miles from the Qnehunga Wharf. On arrival at Onehunca he reported the matter to Sergeant Rogers, who, with Constable McL<_'od, removed the body to the Manukau Hotel. Deceased, who was about tiftv years of age. is believed to have been a married man, his wife residing in England. An inquest is to be held this morning before Mr. J. A. Sutherland, district coroner.
