AUCKLAND HOSPITAL BOARD.

•» The Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board met last evening. The chairman, Mr. M. J. Coyle, presided. In regard to the matter of reciprocal charges between hospital boards for the treatment of patients, correspondence was- / received from the Otago and the Whangarei Boards suggesting that the charge should be 6s. The Auckland Board has already agreed to the suggestion made by the Minister for Public Health that the charge should be ss, but on the motion of Mr. Nerheny the matter was referred to the Finance Committee for report. An application by the St. John Ambulance Brigade . Overseas, for the use of the building at Epsom formerly occupied by the Epsom Fire Brigade, was referred to the Finance Committee. Seven tenders were received for supplying a disinfector. The lowest tender, that of the Senior Foundry Company, of £494 17s 6d, was accepted. =====
