RUSSIA SUGGESTS A CONFERENCE OF THE ALLIES.
RECONSIDERATION OF CONDITIONAL TERMS OF PEACE. Australian and N.Z. Cable. (Received 11.10 p.m.) LONDON, July 3 A statement was made in the House of Commons by Lord Robert Cecil, Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs, that the Russian Government had suggested a conference of the allied Powers to reconsider the conditional terms of peace. Lord Cecil said the British Government was communicating with the allies on the subject.
