MANUKAU LAUNCH FATALITY.
BODY DISCOVERED NEAR HEADS. A body, which is believed to be that of one of the fishermen who were reported missing from a launch wrecked near the Manukau Heads last Sunday week, was discovered yesterday morning. The body was found in Orua Bay, in the Manukau Harbour, by Captain Phipps, of the scow Ripple. On receipt of tie information Constables McLeod and Felton, of the Onehunga police, were despatched to bring the body to Onehunga. The constables spent some time in searching for the body of the other man, but were unsuccessful. .The -decomposed state of the body has rendered it almost impossible to identify it, but it is thought, however, to be that of William McMinn. An inquest will be opened before the district coroner, Mr. D. A. Sutherland, this morning.
