AUCKLAND ORPHANS CLUB.
The gathering of the Auckland' Orphans Club on Saturday night was presided over by Mr. T. U. Wells, vice-president. The programme, which was thoroughly enjoyed, consisted of selections by the club's orchestra, under Mr. C. F. Cater, songs by Messrs. T. Brough, C. Mountain. R. Dellow, A. Ford and H. Piper, humorous songs by Mr. R. Bradbury, juggling exhibition by Mr. N. Tate, and speeches on the war by the chairman and Mr. T. M. WUferd, M.P.
