When the administration of the air services was reorganised a few months ago, Viscount Cowdray was appointed president of the new air board, the .constitution of which was announced on February 7. It was recently'stated that owing to business reasons, Viscount Cowdray would resign. Mr. Churchill resigned the portfolio of First Lord of the Admiralty in May, 1915, as a result of disagreement with Lord Fisher. He became Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster in the Asquith Cabinet, but resigned office and returned to active service in November of that year. His appointment as lieutenant-colonel was gazetted in March, 1916. Since then he has resumed his political career. He is 43 years old.
Mr. Roberts has been Labour member for Norwich since 1906. He was appointed a Lord Commissioner of the Treasury in 1915, and when Mr. Lloyd George formed hie Cabinet became Under-Secre. tary for the Board of Trade,
