CAPTURED GROUND ALREADY THOROUGHLY CONSOLIDATED Australian and N.Z. Cable (Received 12.15 ».m.) LONDON. June 7.
A correspondent of the London Times at British headquarters says that in winning Messines the New Zealanders did their work as they always do, cleanly and well. They sustained only very light casualties. They have already consol'dated and fortified the ground with thoroughness and precision worthy of the highest praise.
