OLD COLONIST'S DEATH.
MR. J. C. MORRIN.
The death occurred yesterday at his re3w dence, Otahuhu, of Mr. John Careley Mor« , rin, at the age of 86. The deceased gentle, man had resided in Auckland and district) for many years, and was one of the oldest identities. He was at one time one of tho leading grocers of the city, and for a, considerable period was a parishioner and office-bearer at old St. Matthew's Church. For several years he had lived in retire, ment at Otahuhu. The late Mr. Morria is survived by a widow, and Mrs. W. J, Geddis and Mrs. Littler are daughters.
