TAURANGA HARBOUR SCHEME
[BY TELEGRAPH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT.] KOTORUA, Saturday. The Rotorua Chamber of Commerce, at a recent meeting, considered tho Tauranga Harbour Board's proposal to obtain an extension of the harbour area to include Rotorua. The chamber decided that the executive should confer with the County Council on tho matter, but emphatically protested against the inclusion of tho town of Rotorua. in the proposed rating area until railway communication is established with Tauranga.
