■*■ TALISMAN CONSOLIDATED. DIVIDEND PAYABLE 1 0 DAY A dividend of Is per share, 'he first to he paid by the recently reconstructed company, will be paid to-day by the Talisman Consolidated Gold Mining Company. The payment will absorb a sum of £17,250, ami will hr.'ii? tho total dividends and bonuses paid since the original reconstruction of the late com pany to £1,064,721 17s Cd. It has been re constructed twice. At the present time there arc 1328 colonial shareholders on the register of the company, and they hold 268.096 shares. The sum to be distributed j anions them will total £13,404 16s. MINE MANAGERS' REPORTS. Waitanci Consolidated : Work has been in progress with two shifts driving east in No. 2 level during the past week. A further distance of 6ft of the hanging-wall portion of the reef was stripped and broken down. The are looks very promising, and carries good values. Four samples taken from the reef for a distance of 6ft gave the average value of £9 8s 6d per ton. Cleaning up m No. 4 level is now completed, but there are still repairs to be done in timbering. Rising Stoning on No. 1 reef over the low level: In No. 1 block the reef is still about 3ft wide, and in No. ( block it is about lift wide. The ore broken from both these blocks was highly payable. In the stopes on the eastern branch the leader is 9in wide, and of fairly high grade. PAEROA WARDEN'S COURT. [BY. TELEGRAPH.— COMIESPONIIrM ] PAEROA. Saturday.
