ATTITUDE OF CHINA.
RIOTOUS SESSION. WAR RESOLUTION REJECTED Router. TEKIN. May 11. After a riotous secret session lasting through Thursday night the House of Representatives refused to pass a resolution to declare- war on Germany. Parliament was surrounded by a mob which demanded war. The Premier addressed the House, urging the declaration of war, but this was denounced by members opposed to the war party.
