THIS SEASON'S COMPETITIONS. The weekly meeting of- the Auckland Foolball Association was held in the sports Club on Tuesday evening. Mr. D. G. Williams preA letfcr was received from the North Shore Club statins that the two playing grounds on the DevoniTort Domain were at the disposal oi the association. Association matches wall this season be played on the Auckland Domain, Victoria Park, and the Devonport crounds. Compactions will commence on Saturday, May 12, and all clubs are required to affiliate and register en or before Tuesday, May S. It is possible that a team from the Soldiers' Club may enter in this, grade, In the event of no further clubs participating, the age restriction will 1* removed from the third division; and'the two competitions will be merged into one. The matter of referees is giving the Management Committee considerable '. anxiety, the response for volunteers not being at all satisfactory.
