Tee sharemarket was quiet again yesterday. In standard stocks, New Zealand Insurances sold at £7 9s, previous day's price, and Auckland Gas at 283 6d. There was a reported sale in Auckland Tramways (pref.) at 16s 6d. In mining line? Waihi Grand Junctions sold at 14s. AUCKLAND STOCK EXCHANGE.

The first dealings in the new war loan excited much interest on the Stock Exchange, There wore over 100 markings of the 5 per cents at from 194 17s Gd to £95 ss.
