NARROW ESCAPE OF TWO LADIES. ' [BY TELECRAr-H.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] " COROMANDEL, Monday. A narrow ' escape . from serious accident occurred on' the Mahakirau - Road on Sunday evening. -" A ; ;sulky;' driven by Miss of Mahakirau, who was accompanied by a lady friend, overturned on one of the' Blipß caused by the recent storm. The occupant* -fortunately ...were;, thrown clear on the road and received;; no injury.. The : horse and sulky, however,; fell- oyer, a bluff 'a- 'distance: of s about; 100 -feet, the . horse being killed and the sulky wrecked.
