TEPID BATH GALA TO-DAY. CHAMPIONS COMPETING. The lengthy nnd interesting programme of swimming, diving, and lite-saving events to be decided at the Tepid Bath this afternoon, commencing at half-past two o'clock, should provide Bport of the brightest class. No fewer than 41 events will claim attention, including the 75yds champicnsnip for men and the 220 yds North New Zealand championship for ladies. Amongst the seven entrants for this latter event is Miss Kathleen MacKenzie, of Napier, who arrived by the express yesterday morning. The meeting of Eric Paterson. Conrad Welson, and Leo Kronfeld in the spnnt championship should result in another exciting finish between the trio. Owing to the lengthy list of events to be disposed of, a star" will be made at 2.30 p.m. sharp, and no delays will be permitted.
