TOTAL OF 19 DEATHS. INQUIRY COURT FINDINGS. FORTY REPORTED WOUNDED. The 533 rd casualty 1h issued by the Defence Department was circulated last evening by the Press Association. It reports the. death in action of 13 men. Reports by courts of inquiry declare that five men previously reported missing were killed in action. Ho left New Zealand with a i reinforcement which sailed in April, 1915, ! as second-lieutenant, and served in Egypt i and through the Gallipoli campaign. ! There lie was promoted to a lieutenancy, j and afterwards, in France, ho won his I captaincy. PRIVATE R. HAY-CHAPMAN. Private Rowley Hay Chapman, killed in action on February 21. was 22 yean of age. He was born at lhamata, Mangore, and was educated at the Devonport and Remuera public school*. From the day war was- declared he was garrisoned at. Fort Cautley till he left Now Zealand in October 1915. While in France ho was transferred to the trench mortal artillerv.
