OLD SETTLER'S DEATH.
MRS. JAMES KIRK. I i [ An old settler, Mrs. Anne Maria Kirk, ' wife of James Kirk, of Wellesley Street ' West, died at her residence last evening, ■in her 76th year. The deceased came to Auckland with her husband from Sheffield, I England, in 1863, in the ship Green Jacket. Mr. and Mrs. Kirk have resided ' in the Auckland district ever since. They lived at Maungaturoto for a considerable time, and for the past 23 years they have* resided in Wellesley Street, Auckland. '• ' Mrs. Kirk, who passed away suddenly and peacefully, leaves her husband, five sous, and three daughters, 29 grandchildiren, and five great-grandchildren. | =====
