BERNSTORFF'S DEPARTURE.
STRICT WATCH KEPT.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 1 a.m.) NEW YORK, Fob. 18.
Tho strictest watch was kept over the vessel on which Count Bernstorff sailed for Europe. Guards were placed everywhere, and communication with the shore was cut off. The ship was strictly searched for possible contraband.
