RELIEF STEAMER SUNK.
IGNORANCE OF BLOCKADE. ( ONLY ONE SURVIVOR. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received 1 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 8. The Belgian relief steamer Lars Kruso was torpedoed while she was on her way to Rotterdam. She should have arrived at Falmouth in the beginning of February to obtain the special flags protecting steamers of the Relief Commission. As the Lars Kruse was on the high seas the i owners were unable to inform the ■ ship of the new German measures, and the vessel was torpedoed. There was only one survivor. The Lars Kruso was a Danish steamer of 1460 tons, built in 1898.
