HARRY THAW CHARGED
♦_____' KIDNAPPING A BOY. Auat. and N.Z. CableX NEW YORK, Jan. 9. The grand jury have indicted Harry K. Thaw, on a charge of kidnapping a Californian schoolboy, tying him up in a room of a hotel, and beating, him with a whip. A warrant has been issued for Thaw's arrest. Harry Thaw, who was convicted of murder and found insane, was confined in the Matteawan_ Asylum, from which he escaped in August, 1013. He reached Canada but was extradited.
