EXCESS OF DEPARTURES.
s ; Tnr, arrivals at the Port of Auckland dur--0 ag the month just closed totalled 896, and ->. ; the departures 1289. an excess of the lat--1 : tor amounting to 393. In October, 1915, . the arrivals totalled 900. and the depr-- ~ tares 470, an excess of the fc mer amounts injr to 430. The figures for the 10 coms : pleted months of this year show an excess of 850 departures over arrivals. The following table gives the details of arrivals aid departures for the year to date, in comparison with the corresponding period of 1915, showing an increase of 2174 in arrivals and 1024 in depart :—
