GERMAN PEACE FEELER.
APPEAL TO FRANCE. "WE MUST BE REASONABLE." Australian and N.Z Cable Association, Heoorved 1.80 a.m.) AMSTERDAM. Oct. 31. The German Socialist newspaper Yorwarts, commenting on General von Hindenburg's interview with the Neuo Freie Presse, advises France not to act as a further obstacle to peace. The Yorwarts adds: " This advice is more likely to be accepted if we are reasonable, offering no obstacles. If we are going to drag on the war indefinitely the whole of Europe will bleed to death, and America and the coloured races become our heirs. We want Eurone to live — only Germany but the other nations also who have done so much for the progress of the world."
