Ross, of Woodville. definitely announces his candidature for the Pahiatua seat as a supporter of the National Government, not as an independent. The election will be held on August 17. Mr. Dickson Mac far lane, of Woodville, chairman of the River Bank Co-operative Dairy Company, has consented to contest the Pahiatua seat in the interest of theLabour Party. His candidature has been endorsed by the exrcutive of the New Zealand Labour Party.
