WELLINGTON. Friday. The Thames Harbour Board Amendment Bill, whirl, was materially amended by the Loral Bills Committee by deleting the provision for extending the Waihou River boundaries of the harbour district, came up in the House for the second reading to night.
When it was called on .Mr. T. W. Rhodes (Thames), who was in charge of the Bill, said it hail been so severely treated by the Local Bills Committee that all he could do now was to ask leave 10 withdraw it.
Leave to withdraw the Bill was granted.
